Voyage to California / by Charles H. Denison, 1849.

Charles H. Denison's journal describes his 1849 voyage on the bark Madonna from New York and around the Horn to California noting air and water temperature, wind, barometric pressure, and distance traveled. At the back is a summary of water conditions throughout the voyage and at the front is a list of passengers. Denison went to California to seek gold.
